Avon is a very nice, very scenic, small town, conveniently located along I-70. The town is at the base of the Beaver Creek ski area and resort, and offers a full array of shopping options for valley residents and visitors.

Avon offers a great rec center with an indoor pool. In addition to the large retail shopping here, there are small shops, galleries and a variety of restaurants and bars. Also, many lodging options, including several moderately priced alternatives to those on the resort grounds.

Avon makes a great place to stay while visiting the Vail or Beaver Creek resorts. If you are staying at the resort Avon has everything you need to provision the condo, and a nice array of options for dining out.
